Also enjoy the Carnvial Midway, Family Stage, Shopper's Drug Mart Kid's Zone and Watersking Show. SummerFest takes place in late August each year.

The Canadian Garlic Festival was established in 1991 and is hosted by the Ukrainian Seniors in downtown Sudbury. The event runs for one day in the summer and offers garlic dishes done in a variety of ways including garlic desserts. The festival also hosts a number of local entertainers, children's entertainment, demonstrations and garlic vendors.

The Festival Afro-Caribbean de Sudbury/African-Caribbean Festival of Sudbury is a new Festival in the Sudbury region. Its goal is to introduce the African and Caribbean cultures to the Greater City of Sudbury, and to also bring residents from other areas to experience the beauty, heritage and sites of the North. Attendees can expect a fun, educational and affordable experience.
