    Fairbank Provincial Park

Scientists believe that this area rich in nickel and ore was the result of a hurtling meteorite that stuck the earth millions of years ago. The theory continues that Fairbank Lake was a crater, and its spring-fed waters now attract scuba divers and snorkellers. There is a buoyed area for swimmers as well as a boat launch.
